IF YOU ARE A PERFORMER...

The Crown Uptown auditions and casts performers locally, regionally and nationally. Our actors are all professionals, many with degrees in Music Theatre, Vocal Performance, Dance or other Performing Arts degrees. If you would like to be considered for upcoming productions, please send your resume and current headshot, availability information and references to the attention of Ted J. Morris, Producer at Crown Uptown Dinner Theatre, 3207 East Douglas, Wichita, KS 67218. We audition many of the performers throughout the year at the NDTA's in Rock Island, Illinois and Phoenix, Arizona (National Dinner Theatre Association), SETC's in Charlotte, North Carolina (Southeastern Theatre Conference) and UPTA's in Memphis (United Professional Theatre Association).

The Crown Uptown will also schedule auditions by appointment at the theatre. We ask that performers prepare one monologue, sixteen bars of an up-tempo song and sixteen bars of a ballad. Audio or video cassettes are not required and if sent, will not be returned. Please apply in writing. No phone calls please.
